Demolition Makes Way for New Possibilities

After years of laying untouched, 1724 Kalorama Rd NW is in the final phase of demolition, on its way to becoming Sitar Next Door. The construction team has removed all debris from the site to set the stage for new materials to come in. In two weeks, we will begin piling, which is the process of drilling the foundation through the ground to provide more structural strength. This prepares the ground to carry heavy loads, such as our new flexible performance space, S.T.E.A.M. lab, and music recording studio.
