Starting to Come Alive!

The halls are alive at Sitar Next Door! At 1724 Kalorama Road NW, the future home of Sitar Arts Center's expansion, pipes, wires, duct work, and more are going into all the walls and ceilings to bring power to what will soon be new learning spaces for performing, visual, and digital arts. Every room is starting to come alive, including the Advanced Music Studios (pictured). This space includes a large music room for ensemble instruction, space for advanced band rehearsals, storefront views into a recording and engineering studio, and critical storage for percussion, keyboards, and other large instruments.
